Terms & Conditions of LifeFit Gym Membership & LifeFit Classes
Gym Membership
The term (1, 3, 6, 12 months) of membership shall run from the first session until the term is completed. Memberships can only be frozen on producing a medical certificate/doctors letter to state that the member must cease training for a duration.
Membership is in the name of the member and are not transferable or refundable.
Members must follow gym rules as displayed in the gym.
Membersmay request a weigh/measure every 6 weeks. This will be a 10 minute weigh measure. If members require additional information they may book a 1-1 session. Prices available on request. A programme can be requested every 6-8 weeks.
Persons wishing to become members of the Gym shall complete the membership sign up process at the Gym, or online through the website. The Gym reserves the right to reject any application for membership without giving any reason for so doing.
You will only be permitted to use the gym facility provided your membership is current and fully paid up or you have made payment arrangements acceptable to the Gym.
Minimum age to become a member is 18. If you are aged between 16-18 you must sign up in the Gym with a parent or guardian who must accompany you to all sessions and be a gym member also unless an alternative arrangement is ageeed by management.
LifeFit Gym & Weighlifting Club will not accept liability for any loss, damage to or theft of money, valuables or other personal property of members and guests. Nor will we accept liability arising from acts or omissions of third parties such as Physiotherapists, massage therapists, beauticians, etc renting treatment rooms. This also applies to self-employed class instructors. Property stored in lockers provided by the Club is stored at the owner’s risk and no liability for loss or damage thereto will be accepted by Lifefit gym & weightlifting club.
Members must read all Health and Safety notices displayed in the Gym and comply with their recommendations.
LifeFit has a zero tolerance policy on the use, sale or purchase of illegal drugs or non-prescription steroids on the premises and reserves the right to eject, terminate and ban any member or guest contravening this.
Members must sign a Health Pre activity readiness questionnaire and an informed consent for physical fitness programme prior to using the facility which is part of the sign-up process when joining; if unable to sign you must provide a doctor’s note stating you are well enough to exercise.
In the event of the sale or disposal of the Club to another company or to any other person we may transfer your membership to the new owner and you will continue as a member of the Club and continue to pay your membership fees provided no changes to these terms or the Club rules having a material adverse effect on your use of the Club are made by the new owner. Any such disposal will not affect your contractual or statutory rights.
LifeFit may amend the terms and conditions of this membership at any time by reasonable notice, including without limitation by posting revised terms on its website at the URL www.lifefitclare.ie/terms-and-conditions/These amended terms and conditions shall be binding upon you.
LifeFit Classes
Classes may be paid for as a pay as you go rate or in blocks of 10 or 15 classes.

10 blocks of classes are valid for 6 months from the date of the first class unless otherwise agreed by management.
